			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are no longer &#8220;in charge.&#8221;  Our students, our children are miles ahead of us and they are not waiting for us to catch up.  Today&#8217;s children are in charge of and dominating communication in a way that has not been seen before.  We are still trying to figure out the how and they are onto the why, when and which decisions.</p>
<p>We will never surpass the speed at which they understand and use tools that have become essential rather than luxuries. Technology is a tool to them.  It is still a topic for some of us.  We cannot wait any longer.  We must attempt to keep up.  We can no longer bail out the boat with a teaspoon.</p>
